The Future Is Quantum: Industry and Government Leaders to Convene in Washington, D.C.
8 June 2026

As Quantum technologies are rapidly transitioning from theoretical science into real-world deployment, Quantum USA 2026 will bring together policymakers, researchers, technology leaders, and industry stakeholders to discuss the future of quantum innovation, commercialization, and national strategy.
Taking place on June 18, 2026, in Washington, D.C., the event is organized by Forum Global and will serve as a platform for examining the opportunities and challenges shaping the next phase of quantum development. The conference comes at a pivotal moment for the U.S. quantum ecosystem, as governments and private industry increase investment in next-generation computing, AI convergence, and post-quantum cybersecurity.
The agenda will focus on some of the most pressing issues shaping the global quantum race, including national quantum policy, domestic supply chain resilience, workforce development, international collaboration, and the growing importance of quantum-safe security infrastructure.
Key themes include:
- Shaping U.S. quantum leadership
- Strengthening the quantum ecosystem
- Commercialization and emerging business models
- The convergence of quantum computing and AI
- Cyber resilience in the quantum era
The conference will feature senior leaders from government, research, and industry who are helping shape the future of quantum technology in the United States. Speakers include Senator Tim Sheehy, who has advocated for strengthening U.S. technological competitiveness and innovation, alongside Bill Frauenhofer, Director of the CHIPS Office at the U.S. Department of Commerce, who oversees implementation of the CHIPS and Science Act; Constanza M. Vidal Bustamante of CNAS, whose work focuses on emerging technologies and national security; and Alan McQuinn of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee, who brings insight into the federal policy landscape. They will be joined by scientific and technology leaders including Dr. Mark Clampin of NASA, Sterling Thomas, Chief Scientist at the GAO, and Bill Newhouse of NIST, a key figure in post-quantum cryptography efforts, as well as industry leaders from Qualcomm, Classiq and Arqit. Together, the speakers reflect the growing collaboration between government, academia, and industry needed to advance quantum innovation, commercialization, and cyber resilience.
Quantum USA 2026 will be co-located with the USA Artificial Intelligence Summit, highlighting the growing convergence between AI and quantum technologies as dual pillars of future innovation and national competitiveness.
