The Financing Europe Conference returned to Brussels on 1 February 2024 for its first in-person edition since 2019

Formerly “The Annual European Financial Services Conference” (AEFSC), this event – co-hosted with Barclays and Kreab - returned to Brussels on 1 February 2024 with a revitalised ambition and under a new banner, “Financing Europe: Investment that Supports Society”.

The renewal of the conference focused on Europe’s goal to become the world’s first climate-neutral continent by 2050 while remaining open, resilient, and competitive. This ambitious goal demands large investments in new technologies and sustainability-related policy reforms. The conference aimed to spark a collective mindset shift, uniting all – individuals, businesses, and government – to action.
