Supported by Forum Europe, on 30 January 2024, Amazon Prime Video hosted a screening of the Italian-Belgian series ‘Everybody Loves Diamonds’ to celebrate the Belgian EU presidency. The event took place at the Museum of Natural Sciences in Brussels, Belgium.

Ahead of the screening, the event kicked off with a welcome reception and popcorn, followed by introductory remarks from Isabel van Enckevort, Head of Public Policy Benelux & Nordics at Amazon Prime Video. The audience then had the opportunity to hear from Benjamin Dalle, Flemish Minister for Brussels Affairs, Youth, Media and Poverty Reduction, who detailed the Belgian priorities in media during the EU presidency, how these will be implemented and how attendees can contribute to the success of the Belgian EU presidency.
The Minister remained onstage for a panel discussion which started with a short informative presentation from Gilles Fontaine, Head of Department for Market Information, European Audiovisual Observatory. Following the presentation, they were joined for the discussion by Lorenzo Gangarossa, Producer, Wildside, Davide Nardini, Head of Scripted Italian Originals, Amazon MGM Studios, Kaja Wolffers, Head of Content & Programming, Prime Video Benelux, Robin Kerremans, Producer, Caviar.tv and Anja Berlanger, Senior Advisor, Flemish Ministry of Finance.
