Recap from Yaoundé for the 8th Sub-Sahara Spectrum Management Conference

9 August 2023

The 8th edition of the Sub-Sahara Spectrum Management Conference took place from 3 - 4 August, in Yaoundé, Cameroon. More than 350 delegates from across 50 countries gathered to hear from over 50 high-level speakers from within the region and beyond.

Key industry stakeholder representatives and policymakers discussed key themes from within the Sub-Saharan region, including preparations for WRC-23, the path to 4G & 5G, Satellite-to-Device connectivity, FWA, and much more. Discussions were spread across 10 sessions, allowing attendees to ask questions and share their thoughts on these topics.

During the conference, we caught up with some of the delegates and speakers to hear their thoughts on spectrum themes within the region, and to hear from them on why they find events like this important. Hear what they had to say, and get an insider’s perspective in our event day vlog below. Follow us on Twitter for more insights in the coming weeks using #SubSaharaSpectrum.
