Celebrating 10 years of The European Cyber Security Conference with a host of top-level experts

Forum Europe had the pleasure of hosting its 10th Annual European Cyber Security Conference on 23 March in Brussels, with 219 delegates in attendance and 27 policymakers and cyber security experts taking the stage throughout the day.

The conference was opened by Margaritis Schinas, Vice President of Promoting our European Way of Life from the European Commission, followed by an inspiring speech by Viktor Zhora, Deputy Chairman and Chief Digital Transformation Officer State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine, who joined us virtually.

The event featured insightful discussions and debates from other senior representatives from the European Commission, the European Parliament, NATO, ENISA, the EDA, the EEAS the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation of Spain, the U.S. Department of State and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland amongst many others, who discussed the following topics:

  • Reinforcing cyber security and resilience in Europe: How do the EU’s policies and strategic autonomy ambitions fit in an ever-changing cyber risk landscape?
  • Achieving the trifecta of successful cyber security governance: Improving human expertise, digital tech and operations in Europe
  • Protecting Critical Infrastructures: European and global cyber security efforts in a geopolitically volatile world
  • Strengthening the European Cyber Defence capacity through Tech & Cooperation
