A Round Up From The 18th European Spectrum Management Conference

9 June 2023

The second instalment of this year's Global Spectrum Series took place on 6-7 June in the administrative centre of Europe, Brussels. The 18th European Spectrum Management Conference was hosted at Sparks Meeting and we welcomed over 170 delegates to hear about crucial spectrum topics for the region and beyond.

During the 2-day conference, various topics were discussed across 9 sessions. Over 60 speakers took to the stage to share their perceptions on Europe's current stance and delegates got involved with question and answer sessions.

To open proceedings, we heard from our keynote speakers Renate Nikolay from the European Commission and Eric Fournier from RSPG - both sharing insights from within the region; providing an update on the status of the upcoming RSPP and the work plan of the RSPG.

We were also joined by numerous high-level stakeholders and policymakers including Jean-Pierre Faisan, Broadcast Networks Europe, Natalia Vicente, GSOA, Alexander Kühn, BNetzA, plus many more. We were fortunate enough to catch up with some of these names to hear what their key takeaways were, as well as what these conferences can bring to the overall debate around spectrum management within Europe and beyond. You can see what the speakers had to say on Twitter and in the event day vlog, available to view below and on YouTube.

We also want to take this opportunity to thank all of our partners for the 2023 event, including:
