The MENA Spectrum Management Conference returns for its 6th edition as a Hybrid event

20 June 2022

After a year’s break, the MENA Spectrum Management Conference is returning next week for its 6th edition. Running back-to-back with the ASMG-29 meeting on 27-29 June, the conference will follow on 30 June-1 July in a Hybrid format in Tunis and via our online events platform, for those unable to attend in person.

Alongside Forum Global, the conference will be co-hosted by the National Frequency Agency, Tunisia at the Royal Swiss ASBU Hotel in Tunis. You can find further information on the venue and preferential room rates on the event website. Registration is now available for both in-person and virtual attendance – you can secure your place here.

Across two days, we’ll listen to eight sessions which will discuss topical issues relating to the management and coordination of spectrum policy across the region, with key topics focussing on:

The conference will open with three keynote presentations – we look forward to hearing from Olfa Jammeli, General Director, Frequency National Agency (ANF – Tunisia); Mario Maniewicz, Director, Radiocommunication Bureau, ITU; & Tariq Al Awadhi, Chairman, Arab Spectrum Management Group (ASMG).

Featuring a networking reception hosted by BNE following the first day of the event, in-person delegates will have plenty of opportunity to network with the spectrum community once again. If you are unable to participate in-person, our events platform also features networking tools such as 1:1 meetings and video calls.

We also look forward to showcasing sessions from some of our event partners in the ‘On Demand’ area of the virtual platform, as well as exhibitor booths featuring presentations, demos and more.

We hope that you will be able to join us – registration is free of charge and available here.
