Looking back at this year’s HPE & Forum Europe partnership events
21 December 2022
This year, Forum Europe and HPE cooperated on a virtual events series focusing on the National Recovery & Resilience Facility (RRF), exploring topics such as the digitisation of European SMEs, sustainability and eHealth services and digital infrastructure. Each episode addressed relevant questions within the context of the overall RRF theme, such as:
- What are the Member States’ digital investment priorities as part of their NRRPs?
- Are those digital investments meeting the most pressing needs?
- What opportunities and challenges are identified by both Member States and potential recipients of these funds?
- In sum, can we expect the RRF to achieve its objectives?
We were honoured to have a very high-level line-up of speakers at each session, offering their views and expertise on the matters under discussion. If you are interested in learning more about the series and the speakers that participated and would also like to watch the replays, you can visit the event website.
Following the success of the RRF event series, we turned to the 7th Public Sector Transformation Conference, a flag-ship public sector modernisation event which has gained a reputation as a key meeting point for stakeholders in EU, national, city and local administrations and industry experts. Entitled Public Sector Data: Enabling a Trusted Ecosystem to Generate Public Value, this annual conversation explored the key themes of trust, data sovereignty, increased interoperability and data sharing.

See below what both our HPE partner, Irena Bednarich, Vice-President International Government Relations and Forum Europe’s Partner and Managing Director, James Wilmott had to say about the long-time collaboration between both organisations:
It was HPE’s great pleasure to host, alongside our long-standing partner Forum Europe, the 7th edition of the Public Sector Transformation Conference with our distinguished speakers and audience of stakeholders across sectors and from various Member States around the European Union. We are looking forward to continue on these productive conversations, taking note that collaboration between the public and private sector will be key in delivering the Digital Decade and ensuring that Europeans can access world-class cross-border digital services from their public institutions.

We have partnered with HPE since 2015 on the Public Sector Transformation Conference, addressing pressing topics around the digitalisation of the European public sector. This established event attracts delegates from Europe and globally interested in learning more about the EU’s approach. We look forward to future collaborations with HPE and can’t wait to see you all again for the 8th edition of the Public Sector Transformation Conference.
