Join us in Cape Town or Online for our 7th Sub-Sahara Spectrum Management Conference!
21 October 2022
Returning next week for its 7th edition is our Sub-Sahara Spectrum Management Conference! Running back-to-back with the ITU workshop on Spectrum Monitoring on 1-2 November, the conference will follow on 3-4 November in a hybrid format in Cape Town and via our online events platform.
Alongside Forum Global, the conference will be co-hosted by ICASA at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. Registration is now available for both in-person and virtual attendance – you can secure your complimentary place here.
Across two days, we’ll listen to 8+ sessions which will discuss topical issues relating to the management and coordination of spectrum policy across the region, with key topics focussing on spectrum challenges, opportunities and targets for Africa; WRC-23 progress, challenges and opportunities; key mid-band frequencies (2.6GHz, C-band, 6GHz); and more!
We look forward to welcoming Mario Maniewicz, Director, Radiocommunication Bureau, ITU; John Omo, Secretary General, ATU; and Khumbudzo Phophi Silence Ntshavheni, Minister for Communications and Digital Technologies of South Africa, who will deliver the Opening Keynote Presentations on Day 1, with another Keynote Presentation to open the second day of the event being presented by Dr Charley Lewis, Acting Chairperson, ICASA.
You can view the full agenda and high-level speaker line-up on the event website.
We hope that you will be able to join us for the interactive sessions, the multiple networking opportunities available to both in-person and virtual delegates (including a cocktail reception hosted by BNE for in-person attendees), a physical and virtual exhibition area, and much more!
Registration is free of charge and available here.
We hope to see you at the event!
