The Global Spectrum Series returns and the launch of the WRC-23 Webinars
9 March 2021
The Global Spectrum Series returns in 2021 with its seven regional events and, new to 2021, the WRC-23 Webinars!
During the Spectrum Series events last year, we asked attendees "What do you expect to be the most prominent issue at WRC-23?” - the results highlighted 3 clear stand-out topics:
Based on this, we are pleased to introduce 3 interactive webinars that will put these topics under the spotlight:
- Webinar 1: 470 – 694 MHz – Shaping the future use of the UHF band | 18th March 2021 | 13:00 – 15:15 CET
- Webinar 2: 3.3GHz-3.8GHz – Balancing the needs of key users in the C-band | 14th April 2021 | 14:00 - 16:15 CET
- Webinar 3: 6GHz – The new spectrum battleground | 27th April 2021 | 14:00 - 16:15 CET

Following the webinars, our focus shifts to the seven regional events as part of the Spectrum Series, starting with the Asia-Pacific Spectrum Management Conference, taking place on 25-27 May, followed soon after by the European Spectrum Management Conference on 21-23 June.
With the outbreak of Covid-19, the majority of these regional events were held virtually in 2020 and we will continue using this online format for the first half of 2021. We hope to be able to return to hosting in-person events in the second half of the year, if it is safe and appropriate to do so.
Taken collectively, the events of the Global Spectrum Series are unique in offering the global spectrum community a high-level platform to discuss key issues, network, develop new contacts and exchange best practices both within and beyond regional boundaries.
Each event is established as a key meeting place within the specific region, providing attendees with the highest quality content and networking opportunities. With delegate numbers typically ranging between 200-400 participants at physical events and 500-1000 at virtual conferences, each event brings together leading regional policy and business related spectrum experts with key global influencers.
