Global Spectrum Series – coming up next for 2021…

The Global Spectrum Series has had a busy start to 2021 with our Asia Pacific, European and Sub Sahara events, as well as the European 5G Conference and the WRC-23 Webinars. With Covid-19 still having an impact across the globe, we have worked hard to run our events virtually, and will continue to do this for certain events and regions depending on how the pandemic progresses. We are however delighted to begin working on hybrid events, to bring back an aspect of the in-person element and return to some ‘normality’ – find out more below!

Next up in the Global Spectrum Series, we have the 5^th CIS & CEE Spectrum Management Conference, taking place on 20-22 September as a virtual event. Key themes to be covered include:

• WRC-23 – where are we with preparations on key agenda items in the CIS region and globally?
• Cross border frequency co-ordination – working together to avoid harmful interference
• Technology and policy solutions to deliver rural connectivity
• Balancing 5G with the needs of other users in the low, mid, and high band frequencies

Following this, we are delighted to be able to welcome some of you to an in-person event! The 10^th edition of the Americas Spectrum Management Conference will take place as a Hybrid Event on October 12 & 13, with the in-person element being held at The National Press Club in Washington D.C. and our virtual platform also being available for anyone unable to attend in person. Later this year, our annual Latin America Spectrum Management Conference will return once again as a fully virtual event. More information on this will be available soon.
