8th Latin America Spectrum Management Conference | 22-24 November

Forum Global’s Latin America Spectrum Management Conference is returning in just over one weeks’ time for its 8th annual edition, and second time virtually, on 22-24 November.
We’re delighted to announce our keynote speakers Oscar Leon, Executive Secretary, CITEL; Carlos Alfonso Morán Moguel, Undersecretary of Transport, Ministry of Communications and Transportation directory, Mexico; and Mario Maniewicz, Director RB, ITU who will join other key policy makers, national regulators, and top industry representatives to discuss topical issues relating to the management and coordination of spectrum policy across the region.
Key themes that will be discussed over the three days include:
- WRC-23 – state of play ahead of the inter-regional workshop
- Connecting the unconnected – tackling the digital divide
- Delivering the reality of 5G in Latin America
- Vertical connectivity – what approach for Latin America?
- The emerging shape of the 6GHz band, C-Band and mmWave frequencies
- Spectrum pricing, auctions and awards
Aside from the main plenary sessions, we are pleased to have once again the Showcase Sessions, hosted by some of our event partners, to highlight further key issues through interactive discussions, presentations and more. To round off the discussions of the week, a few of our regulatory and industry speakers and partners will be joining the Final Conclusions session to share their key conclusions and takeaways from the event.
