What’s coming up in the Global Spectrum Series?
12 October 2020
As we move through Autumn, another busy few months are ahead for the Global Spectrum Series. We’ll be holding virtual events focussing on the Americas, Latin America and the CIS & CEE region.
Firstly this week (12-16 October), we will hold the Americas Spectrum Management Conference. Usually held in the surrounds of the National Press Club in Washington D.C., over 60 speakers will join us this year for virtual discussions. For the 3rd year we’ll be welcoming Ajit Pai, Chairman, FCC to give a keynote presentation, and he will be joined by distinguished speakers from the FCC, ISED Canada, IFT Mexico, NTIA, T-Mobile, Verizon, CTIA, SIA, Intel, Facebook, Viasat, Federated Wireless and many more.
In November, we’ll turn our attention to the Latin America region, and host 4 days of discussions on the most topical Spectrum issues for the region including 5G awards and rollout, the path towards WRC-23, bridging the digital divide, and the future shape of the 6GHz band, the C-band and mmWave frequencies. As part of this event, we will be welcoming interventions from Policymakers from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Peru, amongst others.
The final Spectrum event of 2020 will be the 4th edition of the CIS & CEE Conference, which had originally been planned to take place in St Petersburg, Russia. As we now move this event to an online format in mid-December, early confirmed speakers include Mario Maniewicz, Director, BR, ITU.
Across all of the events we are embracing the new virtual opportunities and will be featuring interactive discussions, showcase sessions curated and led by Event Partners, group and one-to-one networking opportunities, and exhibition areas.
