Ursula von der Leyen and Charles Michel to speak at Masters of Digital 2021

10 December 2020

We are delighted to be working with DIGITALEUROPE on the delivery of their flagship Masters of Digital event, returning next year on 3-4 February as a virtual edition for the first time.

The programme is shaping up to be incredibly compelling, and the first keynote speakers have just been announced!

We are excited to welcome Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission and Charles Michel, President of the European Council to Masters of Digital 2021. President Michel will open the event on day one, with President von der Leyen opening on February 4th.

The 2021 virtual edition will focus on the role of digital in strengthening Europe’s emergence from the global pandemic, and look at how deeper collaboration between business, government and civil society will deliver on the goal of a stronger digital Europe.

Making Europe “fit for the digital age” is an undertaking that requires cooperation and collaboration. This has only become more evident in 2020, when unprecedented disruption has demanded a reconfiguration of how businesses run, how public administrations operate, and how citizens go about their daily lives. The event will explore how digital will drive the recovery, and will touch on key topics including the Digital Services Act, Data Flows, Cyber Security and much more.

Keep an eye out for further exciting speaker announcements in the coming weeks!

Registration is free of charge and is now open: mastersofdigital.org
