The DSA Week, 30 June – 3 July: Thank you!
8 July 2020
The Digital Services Act Week finished last Friday, 3 July, culminating in a keynote speech from Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice President of the European Commission, as well as – in the words of the moderator and our chairman, Paul Adamson – “a mega panel”, bringing together themes from the rest of the series.
717 delegates from 36 countries registered to attend the series that also brought together 25 speakers from European institutions, businesses, academics and civil society. Discussions from the series centred around competition and ex-ante regulation, platform regulation of user generated content, e-commerce and marketplaces, and illegal and harmful content.
We would like to thank everyone who participated, and of course our event partners: AIM – European Brands Association, EDiMA, and ITI. We are thrilled with how the series went and look forward to 2021 when we will organise a follow up conference.
Replays of all the sessions are available on the event website: www.dsa-virtualsessions.com, and we will soon release a report and highlights package.
We hope to see you at another Forum Europe event: to see more details of these please visit our upcoming events page.
