The Americas Spectrum Management Conference – Reflecting on 2019 and looking ahead to 2020

15 January 2020

On September 24 and 25, 2019, Forum Global returned to Washington D.C. for the 8th edition of the Americas Spectrum Management Conference. We were once again joined by FCC Chairman, Ajit Pai, who kicked-off proceedings for the second consecutive year. FCC Commissioners Carr and O’Rielly, as well as a host of industry stakeholders from the Mobile, Satellite and Broadcast communities, all took part in an interesting and thought-provoking two days.

This year, we worked hard to produce a highlights video at the event and are delighted to announce that this is now available to view at the bottom of the post. We have also put together a selection of interviews with some of our high-level speakers, who give their views on the biggest spectrum challenges facing regulators and industry in the US, as well as what needs to be done to ensure that the opportunities of 5G are maximised in the region. You can find these on our YouTube Channel.

Finally, we are pleased to confirm that the next instalment of the conference will take place at the National Press Club in Washington D.C on October 14 & 15, 2020. Save this date in your diary and look out for our emails with details on how to register.
