Priorities for University Research: Increasing Canada-EU collaborations in health and climate change

We are pleased to be working with the Mission of Canada to the European Union on the delivery of their digital conference ‘The Canada-Europe Collaboration on Research and Innovation on 23 November 2020.

The event will bring together Vice Presidents responsible for research at 28 major Canadian and European universities. In the current COVID environment, the 3-hour event will serve to reiterate the importance of existing Canada-EU bilateral research cooperation. Under the broad themes of health and climate change, the event will feature discussions focusing on the prevention of future pandemics, use of AI for medical research, transitioning towards green and low carbon power sources of energy and ensuring a lasting healthy environment.
