WFC23 Event Summary
Following the success of the online WFC2022 conference, Forum Europe had the pleasure to work again with WFC on the organisation and delivery of the 2023 conference, this time to be held in person in Prague.
Over the course of three days, many different topics were discussed including systemic risk in post-trade, FMI DLT pilots, facilitating cross-border investment flows, settlement efficiency and vision for the global post-trade.
The conference opened on 24 May at the Czech National Bank, with a welcome dinner held on a boat in the evening through Prague and day two of the conference concluded with a Gala Dinner held at the Palace Žofín. The conference wrapped up after day three, following the most senior panel of the conference and a networking lunch.
Over 250 guests attended the conference where they heard from 60+ speakers from 10 panel sessions and 9 keynote speeches, and were able to interact through online polls and audience Q&A.
