Hybrid Event Summary

Forum Europe’s 9th European Cyber Security Conference returned to Brussels on 24th March 2022, gathering 150+ in-person participants as well as over 500 virtual attendees.

Against the backdrop of the current geopolitical context, this year's conference explored the most pressing and timely issues relating to the protection and security of the digital space and to the creation of a resilient and stable cyber ecosystem. Key themes included the European Cyber Security Policy landscape (NIS 2, CER and the Cyber Resilience Act), 5G and the Internet of Secure Things, Cyber Security and Future Technologies, AI for Security Operations Centre & enhancing European and Global cooperation in Cyber Security.

This annual European Cybersecurity Conference is part of Forum Europe’s Own-Initiative division where our event producers conceive, plan and deliver event programmes focused on the critical pillars of EU policy. We work independently and alongside policymakers as well as industry stakeholders to ensure the content remains timely and relevant.

What We Did:

  • Research and programme production
  • Identification and invitations of speakers, as well as regular contact with those confirmed to organise the content and format of their contribution, whether they participated virtually or in-person in Brussels
  • Raising awareness for the event  through mailings, personal invitations and social media posts and translate these activities  into registrations
  • Sponsor and exhibition management
  • Website and event-day virtual platform design and provision of online broadcasting studio with full event branding
  •  Full AV set up and fulfilment, stage design and collaboration with suppliers
  • Onsite presence at the event to coordinate all final technical and choreographic arrangements, catering organisation, welcome of speakers and assistance to delegates.
