Event Summary
The Future of Transport Conference returned to Brussels on 28th March for its 8th edition, gathering 202 in-person participants to discuss how the balance can between European environmental, trade and industrial policies while Europe’s transport and mobility sectors are experiencing an unprecedented transformation.
This year’s conference looked at Europe’s automotive sector in its role as a significant employer and innovator facing unprecedented volatility and upheaval, and focused on the following issues: What does the future look like for the European vehicle and batteries sector? What support does it need from regulators to survive and thrive in the green transition? How will geopolitics impact progress to zero-emission mobility for 2035? What progress is the sector making in the tilt towards software and digital, and as we move towards 5G-Advanced and eventually to 6G, what new use cases and applications are going to emerge and how can these be harnessed to make our roads and cities smarter and safer?
This annual European Cybersecurity Conference is part of Forum Europe’s Own-Initiative division where our event producers conceive, plan and deliver event programmes focused on the critical pillars of EU policy. We work independently and alongside policymakers, the civil society as well as industry stakeholders to ensure the content remains timely and relevant.
