About
On 21 April 2026, Steel for Packaging Europe (SfPE) hosted a landmark summit in Brussels titled "Shaping Europe’s Circular Future". This milestone event celebrated SfPE’s 40th anniversary and served as the launch platform for their major sustainability report, “Steel Ahead: Packaging for a Circular Future”. The afternoon was dedicated to high-level discussions on the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and the Circular Economy Act, bridging the gap between EU policy and industry performance.
The event was organised and managed by Forum Europe, with Chairman Paul Adamson serving as the moderator for the opening proceedings. Forum Europe managed the event logistics and programme coordinating, that included keynote addresses, two technical panel discussions, and a concluding networking reception.
