About the Event
A joint initiative of the four major European retail associations - EuroCommerce, Euro Coop, European Retail Round Table and Independent Retail Europe - the most recent European Retail Day focused on two central themes vital for the retail sector: sustainability and digitalisation.
The event attracts over 200 participants from all over Europe, including policymakers, civil society and industry. The speakers are high-level and have included retail leaders, industry experts, consumer representatives and notable representatives from the European Parliament and European Commission. Following the success of the initiative, the second edition took place on 4th March 2020, during the early months of the new European Commission and Parliament.
What We Did:
- Programme development support and speaker liaison
- Planning and execution of a VIP event dinner and post-event networking reception
- Development of the event brand and responsibility for on-site decoration and design
- Production of video highlights and speaker interviews
- Media partnership with key trade publications
