Masters of Digital 2023

For the third consecutive year, we worked with DIGITALEUROPE on the organisation and delivery of Masters of Digital. This year's edition carried the theme of digital resilience. Over two days, many important digital issues were discussed; Ukraine, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, The Year of Skills, Data, Cyber Governance, the Energy Crisis and much more...

The event was opened on 7 March with an evening invite-only VIP dinner of 85 guests at the BELvue Museum, Brussels. A VIP lunch with 30 guests also took place on Day 1 of the event at the KBR to celebrate International Women's Day.

We welcomed over 700 in-person guests to the Museum of Fine Arts of Belgium on 8-9 March. An online audience of 1000+ tuned in and were able to watch sessions of varying formats, including interactive panel discussions, keynotes, fireside chats, Digital Deep Dive breakouts and even 'an expert view'!

What did attendees hear about?

As our continent continues to grapple with the aftershocks of the COVID pandemic, Russia’s war in Ukraine has put even more strain on the world economy and European unity. Meanwhile, the searing heat of summer 2022 has shown us the consequences of inaction on the climate. Digital technologies can play a central role in tackling these many interlinked crises. The next two years leading up to the European elections in 2024 will be a critical time to make Europe’s economy more innovative while harnessing digital’s potential to drive down emissions. It is also crucial to leverage the power of technology in bolstering our digital resilience against hybrid threats, together with likeminded partners. The time to act is now.
