Hybrid Event Summary

On the 23rd March 2022, Forum Europe held its 7th Annual Future of Transport Conference in Brussels, gathering over 105 in-person participants in addition to 300+ joining virtually across 41 countries.

Taking place against the backdrop of the European Commission’s Efficient and Green Mobility winter 2021 package, the theme for this year’s event was ‘Delivering a smart and sustainable mobility ecosystem’. The key session discussions focussed on supply chain challenges affecting the transport sector, digital solutions in achieving an interconnected multimodality transport ecosystem, innovation in road safety, and finally, key decarbonisation measures for road transport that truly supports the transition to carbon neutrality.

This annual Future of Transport Conference is part of Forum Europe’s Own Initiative division where our event producers conceive, plan and deliver the event programmes focused on the critical pillars of EU transport policy. We work independently and alongside policymakers as well as industry stakeholders to ensure the content remains timely and relevant.
