The 6G Global Summit 2023
Following the success of the inaugural 6G Global Summit as an online event, Forum Global had the pleasure to work alongside TRA Bahrain to bring the second conference to Manama as a hybrid event, with speakers and delegates joining is in-person and online.
At the 6G Global Summit, distinguished representatives from industry and policy sectors gathered from across the globe to explore the path towards 2030 and the forthcoming opportunities and challenges. The summit delved into preliminary visions and research on future 6G technologies and requirements, as well as the emerging drivers, applications, and use cases. With a strong emphasis on sustainability, the next few years hold immense potential for establishing an ecosystem that addresses major global issues. The summit offered a unique chance to join influential global leaders in shaping a brighter future with 6G.
The conference opened on 3 May at the Royal Saray Resort, with a conference dinner held at The Merchant House after the day’s proceedings. The conference wrapped up after day two, following the most senior panel of the conference and a networking lunch.
The conference saw a strong turnout, with over 200 attendees participating in person and an additional 400 joining virtually. The event featured more than 50 speakers across eight panel sessions and four keynote speeches. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in online networking, audience Q&A, and witness captivating demonstrations showcasing the potential of 6G technology. Moreover, they had the chance to explore additional information and resources through various exhibition areas.
What Forum Global did:
- Develop the format of event programme alongside TRA Bahrain
- Work with TRA Bahrain in sending out speaker invitations
- Development and production of all communications materials (social media, HTML emails and web banners)
- Development and management of conference website and delegate registration system
- Branding design and development
- Delegate invitation and registration management, including liaison and follow up
- Technical management and preparation of speakers
- Sponsor management, including liaison, collection of materials, and interview recordings
- Preparation and development of comprehensive event day run sheet
- Capturing and editing of session recordings and replays
- Management, on-site and technical support for the duration of the event for all speakers, attendees and partners
- Provision of exhibition area and setting up exhibition stands, including 6G in Action demonstrations
- Post-event delegate, speaker and media support and production of internal post-event report
- Provide support in booking travel and accommodation through fellowship scheme kindly provided by TRA Bahrain
