Roberta Bonometti, a professional journalist based in London, has more than 20 years of international media experience with particular focus on media in core European countries, covering print, broadcast, on-line and bloggers.

She specialises in providing media relations at the highest level in a number of policy and markets areas, launching new initiatives, projects and reports, organising press conferences etc.

A member of the Italian Ordine dei Giornalisti (Guild of Journalists), she is fluent in English, Italian, French and Russian (plus some German).

She has a personal network of contacts in the major news organisations throughout Europe. She can boast a first-hand understanding of the language of the media, and of the needs of industry and institutions for an effective communication. With the support of specialist associates, she can manage complex international media and marketing campaigns across all platforms, and work with clients towards optimal solutions, whilst keeping within tight deadlines and budgets.

Since 1995 she has been a media consultant working between Brussels, Paris, Milan and London. Her career started out as a foreign correspondent in the former Soviet Union (1988-1995) covering news and business for leading Italian national dailies and trade publications, including Il Corriere della Sera, La Stampa, Il Giorno, and a number of English language publications including The European, The Sunday Times, The Daily Mirror, the Moscow Magazine, and Europa Magazine. After Moscow, she lived and worked in Brussels specialising in European affairs, an area she still covers after moving to London in 1999.

She also worked as a multilingual reporter at the Olympic Games (London 2012 – Sochi Winter Games 2014).
