Joana graduated from the Catholic University of Portugal with a MSc in Marketing, having focused on International Marketing and Communications. Soon after, she quickly followed the Event management path.

Prior to joining Forum Europe, Joana worked as a consultant and project manager for several business associations in Portugal, in areas of communications, marketing and event management. She has been working with NGOs and not-for-profit organisations since 2015, having organised several events and become extremely involved with European Youth activities and policies.

Outside of work, Joana enjoys spending time in bookshops – or anywhere she can find a good book. She also loves travelling and tasting and cooking foods from all over the world.
