Giulia Chiatante

Strategic Events Advisor

Giulia is an independent event consultant with over 13 years of experience in event strategy, stakeholder engagement, and business growth. Her expertise includes designing and executing go-to-market strategies, building and leading cross-functional teams, and crafting in-person and digital event experiences that resonate with clients and audiences.

From 2016 to 2024, Giulia led POLITICO Europe’s events business, overseeing editorial and commercial strategy for live journalism. Joining shortly after the organisation established its Brussels base, she helped grow its events arm into a profitable, high-performing unit.

Giulia’s passion for events began after earning an Msc from the London School of Economics and completing an internship in Chatham House’s conference unit. She then refined her commercial and project management skills at Marcus Evans and Clarion Events. Since August 2024, Giulia has been working independently, supporting media organisations such as Forum Europe, the Financial Times, and others to grow their event ambitions.
